How To Insulate Your Water Heater

If you’ve been looking for a way to lower your water heating costs you’ve come to the right place. Today we’re continuing out DIY video series with a quick run down on how to insulate your water heater. By wrapping your hot water heater in a certified water heater insulation blanket, you'll help it work more efficiently...water stays hotter longer, so the burner will cycle on less often. For a small investment, you can help reduce the amount of heat lost by your water heater, especially if it's located in an unheated area.

If you have any additional question on how to insulate your water heater you can contact me directly on Twitter and Facebook. If you’re looking for additional ways  on how to save additional money and energy in your home Take a peak at our recommendation library on Hohm.
